CODEMA has a summer closure from the 27th of July until 7th of August. Offices and warehouses are closed during this period. Service departments remain available for urgent malfunctions. We are happy to be of service again from Monday the 10th of August. We wish you a happy summer holiday!
Subject: CODEMA measures as a result of COVID-19
Dear Sir, madam,
The COVID-19 virus continues to develop and has a major impact on our social life and businesses. We want to inform you that CODEMA has initiated a plan to ensure maximum safety, productivity and availability.
A safe, healthy working environment for our employees and business partners is our top priority. To support the WHO (World Health Organization) and the Dutch government in their goal to prevent overloading the health care system, we take various measures within and outside our company.
CODEMA has therefore decided to close all its physical locations for customers and relations from Thursday evening March 19th until further notice, thus limiting further spread of the corona virus. This was not an easy decision for us, but we think it is important to take our social responsibility. Naturally, the delivery and collection of goods still remains possible. We have made extra provisions for this.
Health and safety
We take various measures to guarantee the health and safety of our employees and relations:
• Stimulating meetings via telephone / Skype or Zoom
• Limiting or opposing unnecessary travelling and reception of visitors,
• Postponing customer events,
• Improving health and hygiene in all our office locations,
• Supporting remote work for office workers where possible.
In view of the current guidelines of the DUTCH RIVM regarding the coronavirus, we would like to clarify that all CODEMA activities are operational and that we will continue our support and services where possible.
All our departments remain staffed. Where possible, colleagues with office functions work at home. Where necessary, colleagues alternate to minimize the risk of contamination, so that every department is approachable.
CODEMA also has to deal with restrictions of (inter) national travelling. Planned trips in March and early April have been canceled. We take a critical look at other planned trips and visits and where possible we propose other contact options, for example by telephone, Skype, Zoom or e-mail. We will inform you individually whether or not these contact moments will take place.
Installation, service and spare parts
Our service departments will of course remain available. The necessary trips intended for installation and service (no maintenance) will continue, provided that the trip is possible and that the safety of everyone involved is guaranteed. Our service technicians can also provide remote support to your machines through “remote services”.
CODEMA has taken various measures to guarantee the availability of parts and the continuity of deliveries. Our logistics department is operational to guarantee delivery reliability. Nevertheless, this extreme situation can lead to challenges in our inventory management. Unfortunately, this could potentially affect the prices and availability of specific products and / or services, as well as shipping and transportation costs. We ask for your understanding of this situation and – if anything changes – we will inform you in time.
We closely monitor the situation and observe the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Dutch government. If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact us.
